Okay, things are calming down in my work life and I envision getting back to regularly updating this blog again. And taking pictures. And basically not being so bloody boring. :P

I got a bit of knitting done this week on my lana d'oro sweater. Once again, I'm sweating as to whether I have enough yarn. When I redesigned my sleeves I forgot that I'd bought yarn with 3/4 sleeves in mind. Heh. It does add a little excitement to the project though ;) I think I should be okay. I might have to do the neck edging in a contrasting yarn though, and then add a little extra to the sleeves and bottom edge to bring it all together. It will be a happy accident, yeah, that's it. In the future though, I swear I will buy too much yarn for every project!

So anyway, I finished the first sleeve and am about 50 rows into the second sleeve. If I get any significant knitting done this weekend, I might actually finish. It would be nice to have it take to Summerstar the weekend after next. It will be hot in the daytime, but it tends to get really cold at night.

I finally felted my sister's bag and gave it to her the weekend before last at "Father's Day observed" Now my mom wants one, heh. Luckily it's a quick project. I already got the yarn for it so I can start on it when the mood strikes.
